Hi everyone,
I've been trying to find out more about the I bVII vi bIII ii bVI V bII I (Bb) turnaround that is in the following video.
https://www.guitarsupersystem.com/videos/6-popular-jazz-progressions
I've gone so far as to look up some additional resources, and have found the closest thing I could find to be Coltrane changes (after John Coltrane and "Giant Steps").
In the video, Tyler mentions that progressions like this can be found all over jazz. I am not a jazz expert, but can someone:
#1 let me know of some examples of this altered chromatic key changing 2-5-1 turnaround in jazz?
#2 explain more of the theory here?
I find that there are several key changes and I find this chord progression fascinating, yet I'm not sure what to do with it or where I can find more information on it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Dan
